TCR Announces Launch of CyberSleuth™ – NIST SP 800-171 Compliance Services

Cyber-criminals are relentless in their daily attacks on businesses. Small and medium-sized businesses are especially vulnerable. In response, the National Institute of Standards (NIST) developed the SP 800-171 standards to safeguard the processing, storage, and transmission of controlled unclassified information (CUI). The NIST SP 800-171 provisions apply to any manufacturer, either an OEM or tiered supplier, contractually doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA) or NASA. All manufacturers must be compliant with new NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity requirements no later than December 31, 2017, or else they face loss of their government contracts.
