CARET
Center for Advanced Research on Emerging Technologies

About CARET

The Center for Advanced Research on Emerging Technologies (CARET) was created in 2011 by Dr. Teresa Piliouras and Raymond Yu. CARET works with educators, researchers, students, and industry professionals around the world.

Our goal is to create a mutually supportive, collaborative research environment to exchange ideas and explore complex problems that require innovative, multi-disciplinary solutions.

CARET gives students freedom to explore a variety of academic and career options, and to broaden personal networks. Students from around the world, from universities and colleges across the nation, come together to share their unique perspectives.

Students use data analytics, information technologies, and optimization techniques to explore challenging problems related to education, cybersecurity, and health information technology.
